Count your coins and find what is missing.

Scan each coin with a barcode scanner or a phone. CoinManagerPro compares the count with your records and shows what is missing, extra, or in the wrong place.

No coin changes until a manager approves the count.

The scan screen of stock count 14 in CoinManagerPro: 412 of 486 coins counted, 85%. A green banner says Counted. for an 1881-S Morgan Dollar PCGS MS65. The counter is in the Vault zone, safe 2, shelf A, box 1, and the recent scans list the last four coins.

What stock counts do

Use a count for theft checks, insurance, and year-end.

Count by place or category

Count a whole warehouse, some zones, or a category and the categories under it. The count records the coins expected when it starts.

Scan labels, tags, and certs

A scan reads a CoinManagerPro label, an RFID tag, or a slab cert number. A USB or Bluetooth scanner types into the code box.

Count with a phone

Use the phone camera to read barcodes. Each scan plays a sound and shows a color, so you can keep your eyes on the coins.

Keeps counting offline

When the connection stops in a vault, the scans wait on the device. They send when the connection comes back.

Several counters at once

More than one person can scan the same count. A repeat scan of a coin does not count it two times.

Review every difference

Results show as "Matched", "Missing", "Unexpected", "Unknown code", and "Quantity difference". Choose the change for each line or for all lines of one result.

Approval by a manager

Counting and approving are separate permissions. On approval, each change goes into the coin's history. A missing coin comes off every sales channel.

Report and CSV

Print the count report or download the lines as CSV for your accountant or insurer.

How a stock count works

01

Start the count

Pick a warehouse, zones, or a category. The count records which coins should be there.

02

Scan the coins

Set the zone, safe, shelf, and box you are counting. Scan each coin. Type a quantity for a roll or a lot.

03

Finish and review

Finish counting. CoinManagerPro compares the scans with the records and lists each difference. No coin changes yet.

04

Approve

A manager chooses the changes and approves. Only the lines with a chosen change are changed.

Questions about stock counts

What scanner do I need?

Any USB or Bluetooth barcode scanner that types the code works. You can also use the camera of a phone or tablet in the browser.

What if a coin is in the wrong box?

The scan screen warns you when the record has the coin in another place. In review, the coin shows as "Unexpected". You can move it to where it was found or mark it as found.

What if coins sell while we count?

A coin that changes after counting ends shows as "Changed during the count". The approval skips it, so a sale is never undone.

Can I count more after I finish?

Yes. Click "Count more" in review to go back to scanning. Cancel the count to stop with no changes.

Who can start and approve a count?

Members with "Count stock" can start counts and scan. Members with "Approve stock counts" review and approve the changes.
