Know which safe, shelf, and box holds each coin.
Draw your safes, shelves, and boxes once. The storage map then shows how many coins and how much value are in each box, and finds any coin for you.
Use the safe, shelf, and box codes that are already on your coins.
The Storage map in CoinManagerPro for the Main store warehouse. The Vault zone has three safes, Gold, Morgans and Type coins. Each safe shows its shelves and boxes with the coin count and value of each box, and a bar under each that shows its share of the value.
What the storage map does
Every coin has a warehouse, a zone, and an optional safe, shelf, and box.
Warehouses and zones
Add a warehouse for each store, vault, or bank box, and zones inside each one. New coins go in the default warehouse and zone.
Safes, shelves, and boxes
Place each safe on a grid that matches the room. Add shelves to a safe and boxes to a shelf.
Count and value in each box
Each safe, shelf, and box shows its coin count and value. A bar under each one shows its share of the value, so you see where the money sits.
Find a coin
Search by SKU, title, cert number, or RFID tag. The map puts a ring around the box that holds it.
Move coins
Open a box, select coins, and move them to another slot, or drag them onto a box on the map. You can move all the coins in a box at once.
A record of each move
Every move goes into the coin's location history, with who moved it and when.
Codes from your records
Coins that use a safe, shelf, or box code that is not on the layout show as "Not on the map". Add that unit with one click.
How to set up the storage map
01
Add your warehouses and zones
Each workspace starts with one warehouse and one zone. Add more when you keep coins in more places.
02
Draw the layout
Click Edit layout. Add each safe with its code, then its shelves and boxes.
03
Give coins their slot
Set the safe, shelf, and box on a coin, in a CSV import, or by moving coins on the map. Coins that already have codes show at once.
04
Find and count
Search for a coin to see its box. Count a warehouse or a zone with a stock count.
Questions about the storage map
Can I track coins in more than one location?
Yes. Add a warehouse for each place you keep coins, such as a store, a vault, or a bank safe deposit box. Each warehouse has its own zones and its own map.
Do coins on memo or at grading show on the map?
No. The map shows the coins that are in storage. Coins that are sold, on memo, checked out, in transit, at grading, or missing are left out.
What happens to coins when I delete a safe from the map?
The coins keep their safe, shelf, and box codes. The map shows them as not on the map until you add the unit again.
Can I delete a warehouse?
Yes, when it holds no unsold coins and it is not the default. Move the coins first. Coin history keeps the name of the deleted warehouse.
Who can change the map?
Members with the "Edit coins" permission can see the map, change the layout, and move coins.
